Meet Dr. Dawson of Twickenham Pediatrics

​Dr. Dawson has been an esteemed member of Twickenham Pediatrics, P.C. since July 2021.

Born into a military family, Dr. Dawson lived in seven states and two countries throughout her upbringing, though she has consistently considered northern Alabama her home. Since relocating to the Huntsville area in 2012, she served as a pediatric hospitalist at Huntsville Hospital Women & Children.

She is committed to delivering comprehensive and compassionate care to her patients. She is currently accepting new patients.

Extensive Pediatric Medical Training

Dr. Dawson holds degrees in biology and art from The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and earned her medical degree from The University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham.

She completed her pediatrics specialty training at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Board Certified Pediatrician

With more than 15 years of experience as a practicing pediatrician, Dr. Dawson is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and recognized as a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

She is dedicated to scientific, evidence-based medicine, employing treatments and procedures backed by established research on safety and efficacy. Dr. Dawson follows the immunization schedule endorsed by the CDC and the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices.
